She held me accountable and challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone, but also provided the support and encouragement I needed along the way. We often talked about how I could improve my stress management techniques and sleeping habits–and she held me accountable to these goals as well. My diet changes not only prevented my cystic acne from coming back with a vengeance (which I feared after I stopped taking my meds), but there’s the added bonus of more energy (sans caffeine, I should add), less anxiety, and better sleep. Andrea has worked with me over the last few months to pinpoint any food sensitivities I may have. This has meant temporarily giving up foods I love, which has been difficult. It’s hard to make dietary changes, and it takes quite a bit of motivation and support to take healthy steps forward.
